I have completed Ph.D from National Centre of Excellence in Physical Chemistry (NCEPC), University of Peshawar, Pakistan. During my Ph.D research at NCEPC, I was working on “Removal of pharmaceuticals from aqueous solution by advance oxidation techniques”. I have proficiency in the use of modern instrumental techniques like HPLC, UPLC-MS/MS, IC, UV-Spectrophotometry, Gas Chromatography, Thin film XRD, FE-SEM, HR-TEM, etc.

 

Education:

 

1.      Currently working as a Ph.D researcher at NCEPC, University of Peshawar in   

      field of Radiation Chemistry (Environmental Chemistry).

2.      First class (A grade, 3.7 out of 4 CGPA) in the regular PhD courses held at the  

      NCEPC, University of Peshawar during 2010-2012.

3.      First class (A grade, 4 out of 4 CGPA) in the regular M. Phil. courses held at the         NCEPC, University of Peshawar during 2008-2009.

4.      First class (A grade) Masters Degree in Physical Chemistry from the University of  

       Peshawar, Pakistan 2007.

5.      First class (A grade) B.Sc. degree in Chemistry from the University of Peshawar,        2005.

6.      First class in Higher School Certificate (Pre-Engg.) from Mardan Board, Pakistan,

1.      Awarded TWAS-CAS fellowship for Postgraduate studies at Guangzhou Institute of Geochemistry, China.

 

2.      Awarded HEC-IRSIP fellowship for advance research studies at School of Environment, Tsinghua University, Beijing, China from August 2012 to August 2013.

 

3.      Awarded Indigenous Fellowship by Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan for M. Phil leading to PhD studies from Oct 2008 to Present.

 

4.      Awarded first prize on best poster presentation at “One Day Research Poster Symposium” held at NCE Physical Chemistry, University of Peshawar.

 

5.      Best Poster Presentation at First National Conference on Physical & Environmental Chemistry (PEC-2010) Baragali, Pakistan.

 

6.      Have won various debate competitions at school level.
